Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was aware enough to recognize a wrong; involved and brave enough to actually do something about it; intelligent enough to communicate the issue effectively, beautifully, and respectfully; compassionate enough to encourage a peaceful protest, and to discourage hate, bitterness, and violence; and open-hearted enough to wish good things upon the people who were the cause of the problem.
